Attention Students: Let Your Voice Be Heard & Get Involved! Green Schools Student Advisory Council [GSSAC]
Purpose: The purpose of the Green Schools Student Advisory Council is to advance communication across the State of MA with regards to Environmental Education & Literacy.
Who: Participating Green Schools Student Ambassadors in good standing in Grades 2-12 are eligible to participate in Green Schools Student Advisory Council Meetings [GSSAC].
When/Where: The Green Schools Student Advisory Council will meet bi-monthly at a regular meeting place. Meetings will take place at Invensys, Foxboro, MA. Video conferencing and Skype will also be used to allow for greater participation.
Why: Green Schools believes Students/Youth should play a key role in the decisions making process when it comes to Environmental Education in schools & communities. America’s democratic system is rooted in the belief that all citizens who are affected by the system have a voice. The GSSAC communicates student views to those who make decisions about Environmental Education.
